Tourist Boulevard of the East Inaugurated.
President Danilo Medina opened yesterday Boulevard Turistico del Este and other road projects that will give impulse to this line of the national economy.
President of Projects and Eastern Hotels, Ernesto Veloz said economic investments made by the Government are a big boost for domestic tourism and give a sign that tourism is a new dawn in the country.
For his part, President of Grupo Punta Cana, Frank Ranieri, noted that the highway will help to prevent accidents that could damage the image of tourism in the international arena, and noted that hoteliers continue to rely on the government. The Boulevard has a length of 30 kilometers.
Next Wednesday November 27th will also be inaugurated the road of San Pedro de Macoris.
While the stretch of San Pedro de Macoris- La Romana will be inaugurated Saturday 30 and La Romana Bypass by December 11th.
